DHB Apps is an independent software studio specialising in cross-platform mobile applications built with React Native and Expo. We ship to Android and iOS with a relentless focus on performance, simplicity, and user experience.
Our Engineering Philosophy
Good software solves one problem exceptionally well. We do not build Swiss-army-knife applications — we build precision tools. Each product starts with a single, clearly defined user need and is engineered until it fulfils that need with zero friction.
We ship cross-platform by default using React Native and Expo, but we are not afraid to drop into native Kotlin or Swift when performance demands it. The user experience on screen is always the final arbiter.
Every app ships with full offline support, WCAG-compliant accessibility, and localisation in at least 7 languages — from day one, not as an afterthought.

We default to React Native and Expo for maximum reach across Android and iOS while maintaining a single, maintainable codebase.
Native When It Matters
For tasks requiring direct hardware access or maximum frame-rate fidelity, we write native Kotlin and Swift modules — no compromises.
Offline-First Architecture
Apps work fully without a network connection. State is persisted locally; sync is additive, never a requirement for core functionality.
Privacy by Design
No data leaves the device without explicit user action. Analytics, when present, are anonymised and opt-in only.
